Information you provide

We process your email, username, profile details, photographs, captions, stories, capture details, comments, ratings, collections, messages and support requests to operate the community. A location is published only when you choose to share it. A precise photo location can reveal where you or another person was; share it thoughtfully.

What other members can see

Public profiles, published photographs, comments, ratings and discussions are visible to visitors. Private photographs are accessible to their owner and authorized administrators. Messages are shown to their participants; administrators may access records when necessary to handle abuse or legal obligations. Private evidence submitted to moderators is not published as a community comment.

Service providers and security

We use service providers for hosting, storage, account authentication, transactional email and payment processing. Providers process information to deliver those services. Payments on our website are processed by Stripe; Fototripper does not store complete card numbers. Information may be processed outside your country. We use encrypted connections, verified sign-in and access controls, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Device and operational information

Essential session cookies keep you signed in. Appearance preferences may be stored on your device. Network and security logs, including IP addresses, help prevent abuse and investigate errors. The iOS companion does not use advertising identifiers or track you across other companies’ apps and websites. Its notification inbox refreshes while the app is open.

Retention and your choices

Your account information remains while your account is active. In the app, open Settings → Delete account to submit a verified permanent deletion request. On the website, open Edit profile → Delete account. Our team completes verified requests within 30 days and confirms by email. Associated content is removed and any Fototripper subscription is cancelled. Records required for financial, legal or abuse-prevention obligations may be retained as necessary; backups expire under the hosting provider’s retention schedule.

Fototripper is intended for people aged 18 and over. Do not create an account or submit personal information if you are under 18.
